The Bisso Marine survey division offers inland and offshore customers a state of the art electronic mapping survey of waterways or seafloors, bathymetry and pipelines. Offshore positioning survey is also a principle service offered to Bisso Marine customers as well as in house. The tools of the survey department include DGPS, side scan sonar, scanning sonar, magnetometer and mesotech.

For inland and coastal operations, Bisso Marine utilizes a 28’ x 8’ x 3.4’ aluminum boat, on a trailer, with a 11’ X 6’ X 6’ air-conditioned cabin mobilized with sub-meter navigation by Trimble and Sentinel Systems, fathometer, side scan sonar, ready to respond to emergencies or locate sunken vessels or locate other underwater targets anywhere in the southeastern United States.

The Bisso Marine diving division often will partner with the survey division to positively identify targets located electronically.
