Bisso Marine offers a wide variety of options to
an industry those needs are continually changing. With the largest
A-frame derrick fleet in the United States, the derrick barge fleet
includes four A-frames ranging from 260 to 700 tons individually
and two revolving derricks 80 and 250 tons. The total combined
lift capacity exceeds 2200 tons of dry weight.
A unique aspect of the Bisso Marine designed A-frame derrick barges
is transportability into difficult places. The 700-ton barge can
transit under very low bridges and through ten feet of water. The
250-ton barge can squeeze into the smallest Louisiana bayous and
across shallow bays and lakes in as few as five feet of water.
Bisso Marine continues to expand future plans, which will certainly
include larger and greater capacity derricks, all the while maintaining
the current fleet that many customers have come to rely on.
