900 TON DERRICK BARGE ON HEAVY LIFT ROLLING AIR ROLLERS

Refloating a 440’ x 136’ drydock and a recently double skinned 400’
x 86’ 120,00bbl oil barge; the combined weight of the two vessels
was approximately 10,000 Tons. Four specialty pullbarges were
configured for the refloating providing 3,200 Tons of pulling force.
Once the drydock was refloated, it was moved into the channel and
lowered to remove the oil barge which was floated off unharmed.

Salvage of a partially scraped 275’ x 150’ x 25’ drydock section
from under the Florida Ave. Bridge
The 4,400 Ton drydock section was chain cut into a 3,000 Ton piece
which was refloated and a 1,400 Ton piece which was dead lifted with
the D/B CAPPY BISSO, D/B LILI BISSO and the D/B AJAX; both pieces
were delivered to a scrap facility.
